We all look for security. If we are lucky enough to have found the right person one day, we feel fulfilled and full of happiness. There is nothing we want more than to be able to maintain this state of love, security and fulfillment for all time. Unfortunately, things often turn out differently than we had expected. Everyday life, personal changes and other reason distort the balance. Sometimes it's a one-time serious event, sometimes the relationship crisis creeps up on us slowly. Regardless of the trigger - we simply no longer feel comfortable, secure or loved.

During couples therapy, couples discover which factors led to the conflict. Relationships are not simple, and couples therapy attempts to untangle the complexity and create clarity. The focus is on the type of communication, the imbalance of give and take, unspoken and unresolved grievances and biographical events such as childhood experiences.

Many people no longer dare to express their own needs clearly at some point in their relationship for fear of being abandoned. Others, on the other hand, try to break out of everyday life and hurt their partner as a result.

The aim of couples therapy is to restore the balance between closeness and distance, to enable open, fear-free communication, to adopt mutual perspectives and to find out whether it is possible to continue the relationship.
